Uisge Ban Falls

Uisge Ban Falls (Uisge is pronounced ish-ka) is a small hike that is about a 15 minute drive from the cottage. Uisge Ban is Gaelic for ‘white water’ and is a 4km hiking trail that includes some breathtaking views and sites. The waterfall is about 50 feet high and is quite the sight. It is a very easy hike that most are capable of without too much exertion. My pregnant wife did it earlier last year while carrying our toddler without too much trouble. It takes approximately an hour each way at a leisurely pace.

The trail follows a stream and leads to a beautiful waterfall. Take in the sights of the forest and water. It is amazing. The pictures below do not do it justice.
